As the bus rolls in and the students unload, a week of adventure begins. The first day at the McCall Outdoor Science School (MOSS) is a day full of exploring the new place that will be their home for the next week and getting to know their field instructor. The students are split into field groups/teams and spend a few hours with their field instructor. During this time the instructor introduces the plan for the week and they often play some games and work on some teambuilding activities. On Monday we plan to have the team photos and their names up on the site. Throughout the week the students will be doing different lessons including Hydrology, Alternative Energy, and Ecosystems. Some of the things they will be learning about are invasive species, water pollution, solar energy, and biofuels. Keep checking back each day for pictures and trail reports from the students. Where will you AL@?
Everyday students will be providing the following Trail Report-
